Appreciate that this doesn’t fix things, but figured that I'd share it...
I thought it was weird too, so I asked at our end to see what I could find out.
The answer we got back from the Samsung Care+ team was that there’s a “technical limitation” as to why Samsung Care+ couldn’t be added after purchasing laptops from either the Online Store or Samsung Experience Stores, and that regrettably they don't yet have a process for it in place. As to more about what the “technical limitation” is, they didn’t say anything further. As a suggested solution they floated the possibility of a return and re-purchasing with Samsung Care+ added, but acknowledged that this wasn’t the best (or even available in all cases) solution. They also offered their apologies, and said that they’ll take this feedback going forwards.
