It is with utmost disgust I write this message and it should be used by others as a warning.

Promotion stated: Order your any colour  of Samsung Galaxy S3 Ultra, 1TB phone by the 1st of February, 2023 and get it delivered by the 13th of February, 2023.

Come the 13th of February (8am) I get an email stating my phone will not be delivered, with no rescheduled date, so I call customer service, where I spend 1 hour, 49 minutes and 27 seconds, and they tell me it will be delivered on the 27th of February. As angry as I was, I accept the new delivery date and start communicating with them to get a full confirmation via email which leads nowhere.

As I have not received confirmation on the delivery for the 27th of February, Today (23rd of February), I decide to call customer service again, who tell me the stock has not been allocated to deliver the phone and they tell me they will not delver on the 27th and I was put on hold to speak with a supervisor for 1 hour, 14 minutes and 5 seconds.

Then I get an email stating there is no stock and my estimated delivery date is now the 31st of March, 2023.

Now I am furious as I have wasted over 2 hours on calls, I should not have had to make, and I have paid for a phone "I may or may not receive 6.5 weeks after my order was placed with a two week delivery promise".

Samsung has been around since 1938, entered the communication industry in 1969 and is the largest Mobile phone manufacturer in the world, but still cannot calculate stock that it has to sell but instead sells as much as possible before the stock has been manufactured and/or allocated to a specific region and relies on lies to keep customers waiting.

When a chicken farmer is supplying any store, they know how many chickens and eggs they can supply, set correct expectations and pay a penalty if they don't supply their contracted quantity, irrelevant of what happens on their farm. These farmers cannot calculate nature, but still commit to and deliver what has been agreed.

However Samsung make phones which are not reliant on mother nature and still cannot fulfil what they have sold. As such it is done purposefully, based on lies and empty promises, whilst gaining interest from money they have collected from customers and just keep on saying sorry for the inconvenience caused by their lies

THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND OFCOM SHOULD TAKE ACTION TO PENALISE THIS UNETHICAL. MANUFACTURERS.

I don't understand it - just seems such a basic mistake for a large corporation like Samsung to make to not be able to reflect accurately their stock levels in the ordering system

What did the supervisor say that was different to the first person you were speaking to on 23 Feb?

The same sorry for the inconvenience. I asked to speak to a Manager and she said they are on calls. After I persisted she put me on hold for over 40 minutes.

I have ordered 1TB and received nothing as of today to say 10th March.

Hopefully you get yours and you can let us know was the wait and annoyance worth it?

Exact same scenario with me. Placed my order on the launch day 1st of Feb and they said it was IN STOCK when I did select the online exclusive color Red on the S23 Ultra 1TB variant and before the check out it was saying my phone will arrive on 13th of Feb and I took my day on that day as I work in the NHS and I don't want my 1500GBP getting missed or dropped some where in my front porch. Then, by 13th of Feb I receive an email from SAMSUNG saying due to unforseen circumstances my delivery will be delayed and will be delivered on 27th of Feb but then I rang them asking them the reason they said there was no stock to ship it to me I was like what? it was sayin IN STOCK when I placed my order on 1st of Feb and now you are saying no stock to do the shipment? They further promised me that I will be having it sure on the 27th o Feb but on 22nd of Feb I received an email from SAMSUNG again saying my delivery will be delayed further to 31st of March. I was extremely angry, rang them again to ask them and they sorry for the inconvenience.

Asked them why were you giving fake promises on the delivery dates on stock availability and sending us email again and again that the delivery date will be delayed? Why haven't you done some priority deliveries to those who ordered or why haven't you even manufactured enough 1TB stock?? How so stupid from a big giant company to their customers? First time I'm buying from SAMSUNG and I will never ever buy from SAMSUNG again should have gone to XIAOMI or something absolute garbage on customer satisfaction.

They are now sending me an email to cancel my existing 1TB order and they they can give me some discount on a 512GB variant so I can make another order on a 512GB variant.

If some one from a solicitor background had this same issue they should potentially sue this company for giving fake promises to their customers.

I have had exactly the same experience. I have rung and text chatted and had the same responses as you. I wanted my phone for a holiday I'm going on in March but it looks as if it will not be here till end of the Month. Very poor show from Samsung.. I will never bother again pre order disaster
