Thanks guys finally sorted. Took a normal photo and inserted it. The one the app took was always blurry. All gone through. Awaiting new Ultra in graphite.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Did you have it against a dark background?

I had mine laid on a piece of black card. It went straight through

I wouldn't have thought you had to provide a photograph to order our new phone. I get mine though my phone carrier in the UK and O2 have never asked me for a photo.

Bought it through Samsung UK. Maybe its so the courier can verify they are giving it to right person.

Weird, I've bought mine through Samsung UK and no request for a photo.

Maybe it's something to do with your CC provider and part of their online security set up?

No it's for fraud prevention, I am assuming you paid using a Samsung finance option?

I think it's a standard thing when applying for finance.

I remember a few years back when I purchased a phone from the Samsung experience store and used Klarna, they took a photocopy/scan of my driving licence
