Samsung LoungeSamsung currently testing this technology and aims to allow users to transmit test messages and small images via communication satellites, going further than Apple's iphone 14. However it remains to be seen how advanced this would be in the short term.

Samsung LoungeI'm interested to see what they will do what satelite communications 🙂 But it's very unlikely that I will ever need it with the 4G/5G coverage in the Netherlands 🙂
