Satellite Communication Technology May Come to S23 Line Up

Samsung currently testing  this technology  and aims to allow users to transmit test messages and  small images via communication satellites, going further than Apple's iphone 14.   However it remains to be seen how advanced this would be in the short term.

Sounds very interesting.
Though I'm not sure how useful if ever for me.
Living in London, I'm very rarely out of range from a mobile mast.

I imagine on holiday somewhere it being a great lifeline to home or help

As a regular traveller, I welcome any additional tech that I hope never to have to use or will it bring new ways to communicate

I'm interested to see what they will do what satelite communications 🙂 But it's very unlikely that I will ever need it with the 4G/5G coverage in the Netherlands 🙂
