Samsung showcased Horizon Forbidden West playing at 120 Hz over HDMI 2.1 on a native 8k Tv set. However there are a few provisos, the 8k Tv was custom modified for the demo and the 8k 120 Hz was transmitted from the PC To the TV via HDMI 2.1b using Display Stream compression. The game was rendered at 5k and upscaled internally.
