Recovery mode

Is anyone able to enter recovery mode after one ui 3.0 update?  Doesn't seem to be working anymore.

To get into recovery mode you need to plug in your earphones. Then hold volume up- power button both at the same time to reboot into recovery mode on note 10 plus.

Apparently samsung has said its to stop users accidentally rebooting thier phone which is stupid.

Apparently samsung have said users complained they keep accidently rebooting thier phones into recovery mode. Strange.....? That's why this method has changed. I plug usb cable into my laptop and reboot it into recovery mode.
