The enhanced processing function is very useful when running applications that require better and more efficient processing of data (e.g. many kinds of games). However, the option leads to a significant drain on the device's battery. As @ryamoo mentioned before, this option was previously called High Performance Battery Saver.

Enhanced processing does not affect games. It says so right next to the switch to turn it on or off
