With having Samsung pay now, and to swipe up to activate Samsung pay as usual, the Google assistant appears just before Samsung pay

It seems Google assistant a little too sensitive on beta2.

Is there a way to have Google assistant delayed.

I don't want to stop Google assistant as it is used while driving, but the swipe up for it I never really use.

On mine I only allow the swipe up gesture on the lock screen

I usually used Google Wallet, but moving to Samsung for the first time is definitely my best option now, thanks to beta testing 😁

I have switched off the home screen swipe option and is only activated for Samsung pay on lock screen.

Still would prefer it on all screens and have a solution Google assistant maybe like swipe up and hold to ativate Google assistant and just a swipe up for Samsung pay.

I use double tap on the home button to activate my Samsung pay buch easier than the swipe.

I have deactivated the swipe up for Samsung pay on all screens, as it gets in the way when I use swipe gestures to navigate, and only use double tap on side button to access samsung pay. If you swipe and hold from one of the bottom corners it activates Google assistant

I do not have any of those issues with Google Assistant and Samsung Wallet since Assistant is swiped from the bottom corner of the screen and Wallet is from the middle. I've never had a problem with those 2.

Gesture navigation on the other hand is a different story but only when on the home screen as the recents menu gesture is the same as activating Samsung Wallet. I get around this by doing the gesture slightly right of the middle and works for me all the time.

After a number of years on iPhone, I got used to payment being activated by a double-click of the power button. That would keep it available no matter the screen or if the phone is locked.
