Sharpness or distortion issue

On many of my close up pictures I get these distortions (white edge on frog lip) and unsharpness on subjects edges I didnt experience on my previous Samsung phone. It reminds of bad lens abbrevation on Dsrl cameras.

Any ideas?

As far as I'm aware, unfortunately, this is labelled as "halo effect" and is currently a known issue, I experience it on my S24 Ultra from time to time, hopefully a software update comes along to fix it.
