That sounds like the main sensor isn't working properly. Have you tried opening the Samsung Members app, and under Diagnosis, testing the camera itself?

Also the S21 uses the same technoly for the lens in the camera. When your phone has issues with the focus, the element is probaly stuck. With a little shake or a carefull tap will losen the element, so your phone can focus again 😇 THis can't be resolved due a software update.

I have the same issue. I spoke to some repair shops and they discouraged me from repairing it, saying that it was a hardware problem that all galaxy s21 ultra camera modules will eventually have, and even changing the camera module won't make a difference because it's a hardware production proble
