Hi, and sorry for the English

I recently bought a new Bluetooth stereo for my car, and it was paired to my phone and worked perfectly well

Over the weekend, myself and my girlfriend went out and we used her phone for the music instead of mine, but now my phone just won't connect automatically to my car stereo any more

I've tried resetting the stereo to default, I've tried un-pairing and re-pairing the stereo, I've tried deleting the Bluetooth cache and data (which doesn't seem to work, as when I turn the phone back on, the cache and data is as it was bfore 🤔🤷‍♂️), I've reset the WiFi/Bluetooth settings as well, and nothing seems to work, and I'm getting a bit frustrated after go ogling and searching for hours and coming up with nothing!

Can somebody please help me?

The devices are paired, but just won't connect automatically any more like they used to, and the only way I can make them work is by turning off Bluetooth and turning it back on again, and selecting my stereo from the list of available devices

Ok, it isn't the most difficult thing to do, but it should work properly and isn't

Help!

Thanks!

Your phone is fine, the problem occured when you connected phone 2 to the system.

So the car audio system is at fault.

What you do is go in your car audio system to bluetooth settings and unpair/remove all phones from it. Than restart the system and only connect your phone to it. This should solve your issue.

If for some reason it doessent get back here :smiling-face:

That's very kind of you, and I will bear that in mind!

Many years ago I was quite handy with this type of thing, but technology has moved very fast compared to 30+ years ago lol 😂

Thanks very much again!
