Why are there no small 5 inch Samsung phones

Most android smart phones today (2021) are 6½ inches. The smallest Samsung phones are 5.8 inches (S10E / A40).

These relative large phones does not fint into my jeans, and I need to handheld instead. Apple has smaller 5.4 inch Iphones - but not Samsung.

Why does Samsung not produce a midrange specced phone with a thin bezel of around 5-5½ inches ? Could be something like 5 inch, average camera, 4 GB ram, 64 GB storage.

There just isn't enough demand. Apple tried the "mini" 5.4inch series, but even they have finally realised its not taking off and they are discontinuing it, so Apple and Samsung both won't have mini models.

The iphone mini sells in low volume, most likely because of competing Iphone SE sells so well, as it is cheaper. 

There are so many android users which today cannot buy a smaller decent android phone.

If it cost 200-300 $ i think it would a great seller.

Im sure there are plenty of small android phones by Huawei, Oneplus. Im sure even the standard Pixel is fairly small too.

Pixel has grown too, 4a is 5.81" and 5 is 6" diagonal respectively. What should be remembered here is that the screen to bezel ratio has shrunk on modern phones so really the OP should look more at the physical width and height of the phone rather than the screen diagonal

I would love if Samsung made new phone same size or smaller than S10e.
