Samsung S7 - Monetary Apps no longer sending notifications

i have revolut, American Express and Paypal on my S7.

I have always received notifications from all three when a transaction occurs, but recently all three have stopped.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, reset app notifications, checked the software OS version (last update September 4th).

All other apps still get their notifications displayed, ie BBC news, Amazon

I would be extremely grateful to anyone who has any ideas.

Please double check each app notifications 

Settings > Apps > tap the app (American Express or Paypal) > tap Notifications

yes, did that and an apps notificaiton reset.
