Samsung, pick one processor

Samsung has to stop having the same phone with different processors! For heavens sake, pick one and have it standard in all markets. Flagships should run the snapdragon, regardless of the market. Every other Samsung phone may run the exynos. Even if Samsung chooses to use exynos in their flagships for some reason, be consistent and use it across the board on all devices! Stop making one market feel they have been conned with a worse device even if they buy the same model that in the other market!

The flagship S23 range and Z Fold /Z Flip range both use Snapdragon chipsets world wide as far as I know.
For the record I never personally had an issue with the Exynos chipset myself
But this year they are using Snapdragon ones

I think the difference is less marked nowadays, even if Snapdragon experience may be better. At the end of the day Samsung will make decisions as they see fit. personally not had a problem with Exynos processors. If speculation is correct Samsung will be using Exynos for at least the S24 and S24 Plus in Europe.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Yes, but that was o Ly for s23 series with Samsung already confirming the s24 series will be back to using exynos 2400 on European, African and south American markets. That's probably because they weren't able to make a good exynos 2300. Samsung is the only company that does that launching the same model with different technologies. I myself use the s23 ultra

Exactly. Exynos usually heat more, has less performance and a shorter battery life if compares to snapdragon versions

Well Samsung won't have confirmed any details for the new devices
Speculation is that will be the case
But until the launch event, we are not really going to know for sure

I totally agree. Exynos is rubbish and I have always had trouble. S20 2 hours sot s21 4 hours sot. If they do this again I will buy the phone and give it a chance but if its the same exynos rubbish will be bye bye samsung so just praying the ultra gets the gen 3

The ultra will get gen 3 in all markets, but the s24 and s24 plus will have 2 versions again depending on the market, which is ridiculous on my view

That is pretty bad but from a selfish point of view that's good for me as will only buy the ultra. They shouldn't penalise people wanting the cheaper or smaller phone though 🤷

I still think that if they went with the exynos all across the board on s24 and s24 plus while keeping the gen 3 only on the ultra, then it would be more acceptable. But what I find very annoying is having the same phone with different processors depending on the region! That's why I said in the beginning, just choose one and go with it, stop creating this division
