I was watching YouTube, then the screen went black but everything else was working I could still hear the audio and vibrations in the phone. After this I tried to restart phone by holding down volume and power button, and let the battery drain.

Since then I have plugged in my phone to charge but it hasn't help.

Is my phone done for? Do I have to get it replaced ?

Hello @domin3112pl 👋

I'm sorry to hear your phone is experiencing these issues.

Samsungs Help Link >

HardReset Site Link >

In the UK samsung applies a Limited 2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty that involves warranty repairs for free, if the issue isn't accidental damage.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/

After 2 years samsung may levy a fee as the warranty has ended.

You could ask samsung to assess the phone to help.

Other than that outside insurance such as Home Contents Insurance, and or some bank accounts provide cover as a perk of the account. Terms and Conditions apply,  so would possible excess fee's.

If these is to be a fee then weigh up the fee amount to the actual age of the phone, and cost of a new phone.

Take into consideration that a phone is supported for a timeframe in regards to software updates, and Security Patches.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
