One UI 6.1

It says on the internet One UI 6.1 will come to the S21 Ultra in July. Why is it so long? Or is it not true? Does anyone know the actually date?

You need to be careful what to believe unless it is official samsung news. Most of the articles on android sites are speculation and unofficial news.

The next phones to get it will be the S23 series as well as the fold phones and the S9 tablets... these are the most recent models before the S24.

Just be aware that android 6.1 will be different for older phones. Just because it is called 6.1, it doesn't mean that these new AI features will be included.

The latest features require a high amount of processing... some older phones will be unable.

This is probably why it is not expected to roll out to all the older phones quickly. Each phone requires compatability testing and will be different in the features that are capable.

There will be lots of rumours. But Samsung won't have released dates as yet.

The Moderation Team have previously confirmed One UI6.1 will come to the S21 series BUT.....

S21 Series will not be getting the AI features.

In terms of dates, no one on here will know and can only summise (read guess) or repeat what has been stated on the web. But as @smiley has quite rightly started, unless it comes from Samsung Newsroom, then I wouldn't take too much stall on it.

Do you mean custom ROM? if so im not sure if itd be available to flash the AI features.
