Messages App Glitch Android 15/UI 7

I got the new update to Android 15/UI 7 yesterday and everything since, my Samsung Messages app will mark 3 different old messages from 3 different threads as unread. About 5+ times a day. I've tried deleting the messages, deleting the threads, clearing the cache, restarting the phone and have had no luck. Super annoying

The samsung messages app has been deprecated a while ago and multiple times samsung has said move to google messages. Try using google messages

Those messages appear in Google Messages too. Ugh I just hate Google messages

Fair enough. That is really strange. Have you tried selecting loads of messages and using the mark as read button? My theory is if they randomly become unread, maybe doing a big "you are read" might keep them as read
