My first phone was a Motorola that was basically a car battery with a phone handset attached to it.

Then I had one that looked similar to this.

My children are adults now and back then mobile phone's were not a thing to provide as a present. They didn't have the technology they do now for surfing , taking photo's etc and sending texts. No Social Media.
