Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

Android 12 is the latest version and your device is now out of support and has been for a while.

Would recommend you trade in and update your device to be honest.

If you can't get android 12 over the air, connect it to a laptop or computer and try SmartSwitch to see if that will pull anything through.

Google also no longer supports Android 12. So you're better off upgrading to a newer device. It's worth bear in mind that some apps won't work on android 12 when it's no longer supported, such as banking apps.

Hey! If your S10e is stuck on Android 11, it’s likely cuz the official updates for that model have ended. You can try checking with Smart Switch on PC or look into custom ROMs like LineageOS if you're comfortable with that. Just make sure to back up everything first!

@_DKTF  your Device cannot be updated beyond Android 12  and also no longer receives security updates from either Samsung or Google, therefore it is best to consider an upgrade due to increased vulnerabilities.  I would not generally recommend custom roms due to risk.   https://www.phonearena.com/news/no-more-security-updates-galaxy-s10_id146679

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

@_DKTF: If you are unable to update over the air (OTA) then I recommend trying Smart Switch on a home computer.

To begin with, please follow the link below, and click on 'How Do I Get Smart Switch On My PC or Mac' to download the relevant version

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-backup-my-smartphone-to-my-pc-or-mac/

Once installed, open Smart Switch, connect your S10e using the USB cable that came packaged with the device, and look for an update prompt on the landing page, next to your device details.

Thanks, everyone, for the update. The reason I haven't upgraded yet is due to the small camera in the center of recent Samsung phones. I find it unattractive and lacking any form of exclusivity compared to conventional Android users. The S10e is very portable, and the camera positioning is great. I wonder if the next upgrade will feature the specifications I mentioned.

@_DKTF: The Infinity U and Infinity O display, with the front camera positioned in the top middle of the display, has been a standard feature of Galaxy smartphones for a while now, and I'm unaware of any upcoming models which might buck that trend. I think the positioning of the Status bar icons (battery/network signal etc) might prevent the front camera from being positioned in the top right of the display like the Galaxy S10e. It's difficult to speculate at this point, but as of right now there is no news to suggest that the front camera will be moved from its top centre position.
