My Z Flip 3 has been hacked and all text on labels settings etc is in a foreign language possibly Korean. Do I change to English by clicking System/General Settings/Language? If so what is the colour, shape & symbol for General Settings and what position is Language on the sub menu.

@Members_tyEHEKu  Doubt you have been hacked in this instance, more  likely language been changed inadvertently.

For the future to give yourself the best possible protection ensure software / security patches and apps are kept up to date, be careful of links in texts/emails as some of these may be malicious.  It is advantagous to have two factor authentification enabled for both your Samsung and Google Accounts https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/apps-services/what-is-two-step-verification/ https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/  as well as sites which offer it.  It is advisable to clear internet history and cache periodically.  https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/Browsing History

Protection is also increased if you do not download apps outside of the official stores, though there are some reputable APK sites.  I would say it is best also to be careful of public wifi unless using a VPN.  https://www.kaspersky.com/resource-center/preemptive-safety/public-wifi-risks

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Do you still have the phone with you? If you have another Samsung they are similar, you can compare the menu from one phone to another.
Other idea, maybe you can use the phone's assistant to change the menu for you? It should understand English still.

Phones getting randomly hacked is rare to almost non existent these days. You might have just changed the language by accident.

Could you explain how you got hacked? Did you click on any links or installed any dodgy apps via the Internet or something.

To be totally honest, I doubt you've been hacked. It's pretty much impossible without the user granting access directly.

Go to settings, general, and change all language settings to your preference—the first three settings under language. I know it's in different languages, so I'll include screenshots for you to figure it out.

*If you are worried, make sure to change all your passwords and check linked accounts in settings.

The settings I've provided are on UI7 so may differ. It would be best to YouTube a video and choose the same symbols.1744819349509.jpg1744819349516.jpg
