Gimbal for Samsung A34

Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy A34 and never thought about buying a Gimbal but now that I am starting to make videos, I really need one, just I came across a problem: most touch the on/off button, which is rather odd. Are there any gimbals that don't touch this button? Google suggested only three but on the specifications of one of them it didn't mention the A34. I hope this doesn't mean that Samsung came up with a model for which there are no suitable gimbals, or a very limited choice at the most? Thanks.

Gimbals can be a really useful attachment that allows steady use of the phone. 

The more nicer options however can be expensive. 

I'd suggest to have a look at sites such as Amazon where reviews are present, and you can ask a question there too. 

YouTube may help in regards to reviews. 

Samsung phones are one of the top market leaders of phone's so I doubt ³rd party Manufacturer's would rule themselves out from people buying into their product. 

If you perform a forum search you should find existing threads with some further help within.

We use a DJI OSMO Mobile 5, for several mobiles, when using the ZFLIP5 I have the mount the device brace a bit lower to avoid the side buttons, it works fine, and the gimbal calibrates and it's all good.

Thanks for your reply and for welcoming me to the Forum, I really appreciate. But my question was not so much about which ones are good, but which ones won't press the On/Off Button and won't cover it, because if it is covered one won't be able to turn the phone on or off without forever lifting it, which seems a huge bother to me. I have a DJI gimbal at home, which was always used with an iPhone (never quite worked well and very fiddly, by the way, even if expensive), but myself, I have an A34 and it doesn't work. Right when you put the clamp on it, if the phone is on Photo, it takes photos non-stop. Someone should have thought about it. But thanks anyway.

Many thanks for your reply, I really appreciate. I actually have a DJI at home (can't verify which one right now), but when I mounted it slightly to the side it wouldn't calibrate. I am very surprised that manufacturers don't seem to have thought about this? Google says that the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 would be OK. I don't see why, as it seems the same as all the others. I thought that searching for a suitable gimbal would be a breeze.. but it isn't. Going to phone Samsung now. Thanks.

For me, the 6 is too bulky 5 is better and sure both have the same brace that then attaches magnetically, we mount the ZFLIP5 probably 1cm off the center and no issues.

Thanks, I have now ordered a gimbal on Temu, which doesn't seem to need to have the mobile phone in the centre, but if it doesn't work, your advice might just be what I need. The A34 is a very different phone from the ZFLIP5 (I Googled it).

No, my problem wasn't solved. How come Samsung doesn't know which gimbals would suit the A34? Maybe because there aren't any, as their brackets encroach on the on/off button? How come Samsung never thought about that? As a keen YouTube I should have never bought this phone because now I am starting to use the mobile to film my videos I was left without an option to use a much-needed gimbal! Maybe this is a problem for all Android phones, as I know that it is not for iPhones, but it is crazy no one has thought about it! To send me to the gimbal manufacturers is not a good solution. No one at Samsung even cared or saw this as a problem. After having seen hundreds or thousands on sites like Amazon and Ebay it looks quite useless to spend even more time going to more forums (anyway, I came to this one, didn't I?), especially because not even Samsung knows the answer! Probably no one does.... the on/off button is where it is and there is no Home Button, so once the gimbal is attacked you will struggle to turn your phone on or off, trying to lift the bracket with one hand and many will press the button down permanently. In my case it made the phone take countless photos right away. Francisca
