Galaxy S7 Software Update

Trying to install the software update dated 1 September 2020. Size 189.48 MB.

At the end of Android blue screen I get “error” on the blue screen, phone reboots and back to the original state. Message states update failed to install.

Any suggestions please.

2016 phones dont support it, tou need to force update it
Ask Samaung they might give a solution

Is this an OTA update or are you using Odin?

Is your phone rooted and you're trying to install an update from the micro SD card ?

Thank you for your responses. The 1 September 2020 update is an auto update from Samsung. Phone is not rooted.

Phone still automatically trying to install the update every day without success. I have even tried to stop the update install but that has failed as well!
