After the latest One UI 4.1 update on Android 12 the screen on my phone does not respond to inputs. Screen can be turned on using power button but no swiping inputs respond and screen times out and turns off.

That's not good at all @smithy7
Please try >
- Https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.
- As a very last resort back up and factory reset.
- You can also send feedback via the Samsung Members App under the GetHelp section.
- Visit a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre.
I wish you all the best.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I have exactly the same. After the latest One UI 4.1 update touch screen hangs randomly.

I am having the same issue, since I updated to UI 4.1 and Android 12 the touch screen stops responding from time to time, the only way of fixing it is rebooting the phone using the power+volume down button. So far it has happened three times in a single day, it is quite annoying.

I totally agree. It is a software problem and surely related with new UI.

May be it is caused by one of the apps. Did anyone has any update on the issue?
