Ask for advice on data storage memory on my phone.

Please, I noticed when I transferred files from the Audio section on my phone to the SD card they still appeared in the Audio section. When I try the files transfer to the SD card again it says it's there already, but when I delete the files from the Audio section on my phone the files disappear from the SD card as well.

It doesn't make common sense to be like this, to keep the files in both locations when I need the files just on the SD card section not on my phone memory.

Is there any advice on how to solve it?

It makes sense, the files are on the SD card, your phone reads the card and shows the files. So when you tell the phone to delete the files it does from wherever they are stored. Take your SD card of the phone and they won't show on the phone.

Thank you very much for your response, indeed.

Please, I wouldn't complain about that, but then why the files are still taking the memory space on my phone when have actually been transferred into the SD card?

If I saw that the files on my phone show zero space then I wouldn't complain...

But in my opinion, it's counter-productive to think the files are placed just on the SD card when they are placed actually in both places once you check the capacity of the phone's used internal memory ...
