@jane124: Are you using an adapter to connect your headset to your Galaxy S21 Ultra? Also, do you have access to another USB-C headset that you can try, to see if the issue persists? Can you also confirm if your phone still charges as expected?
To test the connection, please swipe up from your Home screen and head to the Samsung folder > Samsung Members > Press and hold on the app icon > Diagnostics > Phone diagnostics > USB connection, and follow the on-screen instructions. Does this flag any issues in the summary at the end of the test?

@jane124: Are you able to try your headphones with another compatible device, as it is important to verify if the problem is stemming from the phone, or the headphones themselves.

@jane124: Please can you try connecting the headphones to your S21 Ultra, then swipe from the top of the screen to the bottom and look for a notification that acknowledges the connection. I understand that it is currently recognising the headphones as a charging device, however if you tap the drop down arrow on the notification, and explore your options, are you able to adjust this manually?
