Unable to turn on WiFi in plane mode

I am experiencing an issue where I can't activate WiFi in flight mode. I have contacted Samsung dozen of times, reset the device and followed all the steps but no luck. Did anyone experienced that? I never had it with other Samsung devices (nor the other ones).

It appears very peculiar to me too. Actually it was working initially on my phone until one of the updates.

All I can suggest is have it take to Samsung for them to take a look

I'm running a 21 ultra on the latest updates and can have airplane mode enabled and then switch WiFi on with no issues. Based on this I think you should get Samsung involved for them to look.

Note, WiFi also connects with no issues when switched on in airplane mode

Dozen of reports got me nowhere but perhaps going to one of their stores may help.

Hello,

I have this problem since yesterday. Have had the phone for almost 3 years.

There was some kind of weird auto-update yesterday and I can't open WIFI in airplane mode as I could for almost 3 years.

Very frustrating. Can you explain me the solution that worked for you ?
