I'm not sure if the new android 12 software will make my phone laggy and hurts my battery life.

Don't if you like how 11 works. So much missing from 12

I wouldn't!

My advice comes from being a UK Samsung iPhone user.

Current Devices:
  • iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Deep Purple
  • Samsung Galaxy Buds+ > Model: SM-R175.

Personally mine has been great on A12 (s21 ultra exynos).
Just do partition cache wipe and galaxy apps booster after every update 👍

Hi @AndrewHou   Do some research, it is true that some users have encountered lags or problems with apps but these should be sored out over time.  Some apps will not be fully compatible with Android 12 at the moment.    However  a  number have been impressed with UI 4.0  Android 12 and have enjoyed the experience.  I took part in the Beta and and only had minor issues, there were still a few bugs in first stable release but a fix has since been applied. Of course some members still have issues but it has gone well for me.   I agree with @tinglish , it certainly is advisable to wipe the cache partition and use the Galaxy App Booster after updates.
