Samsung S21 unable to hear phone calls

Since the system update on Wednesday, I can no longer hear phone calls either made by myself or to me. This includes the dial tone. All other sounds are still working including ringtone, media etc. 

This happened and after I restarted my phone, it worked once but having just gone to make a phone call again it's not working. I'm not going to keep restarting my phone every time I make a call. 

Has this happened to anyone else?

Go into "Settings/Connections/Mobile Networks/Network Mode", and change from 5g to "LTE/3G" and then it should work ok.  I tried running on 5g yesterday and the issue is still not resolved with T-Mobile.  There is an issue with these phones on their network.

Thanks. Tried that still issue. I have rang my 3 network and they said they will escalate issue within a week. Here's hoping.

Yup. I noticed my calls worked when I was not in 5G and it had switched to 4G so I went in settings and changed my mobile network so far so good.

switching back to 5G then also works, but for then who knows how long...

NVM, goes right back to being broken.  Have to stay off 5G until it's fixed.

I have the same issue and hate having to restart my phone at least 3 times a day.  Not reliable.

Mine is exactly the same. Only this last week mind. WhatsApp calls still work fine. Just using that for now.

Having the same problem as well.  They can hear me but I can hear nothing.  Have to restart the phone every time I want to make a call.  Who do we contact about this.  I have Tmobile

This works, but I'd sort of like to be able to use 5G on my new phone. Any word on a fix for this? It's been months.

I am also having the same issue. They have reset my phone several time and factory reset once nothing works. I wish I kept my S9+ very disappointed in this phone and I've only had it a month.
