There were 2 updates in the last couple of weeks. My phone stopped fast charging after the 1st update, I thought the 2nd update was to fix this issue however it stopped charging all together with cables since the 2nd update. I'm now using a wireless charger which takes forever to charge. Such a inconvenience.
Join the club. Samsung and several moderators and stars are in denial but there is definitely a bug in the update.
Many of us have lost 'Supercharging' or 'Fast Charging' functionality. Phone takes over 3 hours 54 mins for full charge from 0%
Here is what I tried 1. Different 25W and 45W Samsung chargers 2. Different USB - C cables 3. Different plug points 4. Fast/SF toggle in Battery Settings 5 Battery Protection set to Adaptive 6. USB charging diagnostic check passed 7. USB port confirmed clean 8. USB settings cache cleared 9. Finally Factory Reset
Phone charges only via 3.1 A USB-A to USB-C cable
Phone does not recognise USB-C to USB-C cables
The Samsung Service tech services could only recommend a service repair.
Samsung service repair could diagnose no issue with the hardware. Above 1-4 seen on their charger/cables/plugs etc.
Yesterday there was a 'System Configuration' update after which my USB-C charging and Fast charging appears to be working again. Phone back to recognising USB-C to USB-C 5A charging. Still no SF charging
