Hi @Faraimunashe Mutata  Did you clear the cache partition after the update as this is advised and can help with lags/freezes.   some temporary casche files can become outmoded or even in some cases corrupt.  Whilst temporary cache files are deleted your Data is intact, unlike a Factory Reset when you need to back up  beforehand.

Follow these steps:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

you can also repair apps from the same Recovery Menu.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Thank you for this, but please note that, the phone is not even switching off because I have no access to the touch screen, if I switch It off by holding everything its just restarting

Hi,
If you hold the power button and volume down the phone will restart and as it's restarting hold the power and volume up button.
This will bring it to a screen where you will be able to use the volume buttons to move up and down and the power button to press ok.
You will be able to clear the cache, factory reset and power down your phone here.

None of these things fixed my device and I've been told I'll need a new LCD screen but it could be worth having a go.

Best of luck.
