My new Samsung S21's screen is way too fragile. I have had Android smart phones for 12 years, I bought my first one the month they were first released. I have never had a cracked screen before. And my phone is less than 2 months old (I bought it on March 13). I have a screen protector on it and keep it in an Otterbox. This crack started in mid-April  and month after I bought it. The crack was so tiny - less than an 1/8 of and inch - I thought it was a scratch on my screen protector at first.  It took two more weeks for me to realize that the screen had cracked. Now the crack stretches across my screen and my phone is doing weird things like dropping calls.  I should not have to replace the screen an eight-week-old phone. Samsung should do a recall and replace all S21 screens with a stronger screen for free.

Yeah, I've been a Samsung customer since my early 2000's flip phone. I have a Samsung Soundbar, 2 Samsung TVs, Samsung Fridge, washer and dryer. Ironically, this phone was one of the more expensive Samsung products I've bought over the years.

The lack of accountability they've taken, with respect to this product defect, will definitely influence my future purchase decisions. I will not be buying Samsung products in the future. I am already looking for my next phone, and it is definitely not going to be a Samsung.

Bottom line: Samsung does not stand behind it's products.

I have the same issue.  Willing to swear on polygraph or whatever religious text they want, but I have NEVER DROPPED my samsung s21 ultra.  I have a crack that formed at thee volume button which seems to be a common occurrence according to my google searches and youtube searches ....  Samsung needs to own up to this defect in design.  I dont think its a manufacturing issue, but if so many people have cracks in the same place starting at the volume button, SAMSUNG would do well to support its product and brand.  They want $289 to repair plus tax.  This is a phone we use for podcast production.  It sits mounted most of time and never taken out of the office .... and NEVER dropped.  RECALL THE SAMSUNG s21 and s21 Ultra line .... or add me to a class action!

Samsung 21 Ulra user here, and I cannot agree more.

I've had a plethora of androids that had much more durable screens than my 21 Ultra does.. I so much as look at my phone and the screen cracks.

I had the phone for about a year with a screen protector and otter box on and still managed to have the screen spiderweb upon dropping the phone out of my car onto my drive way. (I'll save how stupid Samsungs return and repair protocol is)

1 month later with all the necessary precautions to keep the phone screen in tact after having it fixed, I fail to understand how dropping it in the car onto some cheap vinyl would cause it to crack yet again. Samsung has a lot of work to do to keep up with the times it seems.

I have legitimately went through 3 s21 ultras (replacing them with Verizon incurance) because of screen cracking. For 1 every small Crack kills the screen. And also the screen breaks just so easily, this most recent break I had a case and protector on and the screen broke while the phone was in my hand while I was carrying other stuff, there really should be a recall
