Samsung S21 Screen Fragile -- Cracks Way Too Easily

My new Samsung S21's screen is way too fragile. I have had Android smart phones for 12 years, I bought my first one the month they were first released. I have never had a cracked screen before. And my phone is less than 2 months old (I bought it on March 13). I have a screen protector on it and keep it in an Otterbox. This crack started in mid-April  and month after I bought it. The crack was so tiny - less than an 1/8 of and inch - I thought it was a scratch on my screen protector at first.  It took two more weeks for me to realize that the screen had cracked. Now the crack stretches across my screen and my phone is doing weird things like dropping calls.  I should not have to replace the screen an eight-week-old phone. Samsung should do a recall and replace all S21 screens with a stronger screen for free.

Same here! I do have already 2 cracks in the screen. Really small ones but I did not remember the phone dropping anytime. Whatever I had the S8+ and the S10+. No cracks in 2 years... I think it is the weight. If you compare the S10+ and the S10 ultra it is a huge weight difference. Besides that the phone is great! I checked the costs for a screen exchange and is above 350€ here. Way to much....

Same here too! I recall dropping my S21 Ultra once on carpeted floor months ago, no cracks after picking it up. Noticed the first first crack couple months ago, Turned my phone on this morning and there is another crack about 1/2 inch long also have two green pixel like dots in lower right corner on the task bar. I purchased the liquid protek and still have samsung warranty for 6 more months so now I will be checking to see if its covered.

samsung should definitely do a recall on these phones and put a stronger glass in.  I had mine for two days and I dropped it (on its back mind you) from less than a foot with a case on and it shattered ***** near the whole screen. it's ridiculous. and there's no way its more scratch resistant because I've scratched me screen very easily multiple times.

After multiple interactions and sending the device. Samsung will not replace it without charging close to $400 for the repair. I will be making a youtube video of the device easy crack and hopefully warn buyers about this nightmare. A Phone over $1000 is useless and sitting unused thanks to manufacturer defect.

I totally agree, mine broke after a small drop, was replaced and broke again in spite of a strong case and a strong protective glass. I never ever had this problem with all the other phones I had (and I had many, including the supposed to be fragile Apple). For a phone that costs more than 1300€ it's a complete shame. Samsung never again!

Completely agree.  I've never had a problem with screens until the S21 Ultra. Small drop... completely ruined screen..$360 to replace.  6 months later no drops.. the phone just randomly cracks in my pocket.

We may all need to team up and hire a class action legal team.

I also have the same problem. Didn't drop my phone either. Big cracks starting from the volume buttons going all the way across my screen. Got quoted $439 to repair it. This is definitely the last Samsung I'll ever buy. I've owned plenty of phones over the years and NEVER had a screen break on any of them.

Strange... that's the same location of my Crack. Started at the volume button! Didn't drop mine either.  These phones are too expensive to be that fragile.

Samsung doesn't carenat all. This is my first and last from this Brand. Especially since, on top of the shitty quality of the screens, the supposed to be fantastic camera is waaaay below Huawei's p40pro. I can't wait until they manage to find a go around the Google issue and use my p40 again. I still can't believe I spent so much on this s21ultra, really not worth it.
