SAMSUNG preventing whatsapp and other app in the background to wake up when screen is locked

I have 3 apps now (3 that I use regularly, it's probably more that are not time sensitive) that don't work properly.

Whatsapp, whatsapp bisiness web and repeat alarm don't work properly.

When screen goes to sleep, the apps don't wake up preventing from sending notification (in the case of alarm) and preventing whatsapp from working on the web version (it needs whatsapp on the phone to be awake).

I played with all battery setting. All apps now not optmised.

Same here, I turned off all sleep apps, adaptive, battery/power, DND, and background limit settings.  Whatsapp still goes to sleep in a little while after screen is turned off.   From that point on, I stopped getting notifications/messages/calls (also GPS location sharing) until I wake the screen up.

Samsung please fix it ASAP!   The phone become unusable if I can't get notification that I needed in real time.

Same here, waiting on Sammy to do their thing. It's VERY annoying.
