Samsung notes locked after update

Hi i updated my phone and now my locked Samsung notes wont open i keep getting the message that it cant verify me and that the password was entered incorrectly 0 times and to try again in 2242815 seconds, iv spoke to samsung live chat and tried clearing cache, remotely unlocking phone, safe mode, soft reset etc nothing works can anyone please help.  Thank you.

I've transfered all my details to a new phone, I can't open my locked folders in my Samsung notes, it's saying.. can't open a note locked by another account.. someone be my hero and help me please x

Having the same issue, Samsung cannot resolve & are telling me I’ve used the wrong password, don’t really understand that as I’m logged in to Samsung using my current password already 

Samsung have told me I need the ORIGINAL password from 2 years ago that I may have used with Notes, nothing else will work.

SOLVED!!!

Fixed by reinstalling notes from the Play Store (not Galaxy store), DO NOT SYNC NOTES FROM SAMSUNG BACKUP.

Create a new note, lock it, then unlock using normal Samsung password, if that works go to Notes menu & turn on sync, you should then be able to unlock your previous notes stored in the Samsung cloud
