I am having trouble connecting an external harddrive via a usb-c powered hub. According to the USB-C spec an adapter can be used that supplies power to the external device and the phone.
When I plug in only the harddrive it connects fine. As soon as I plug power into the hub, the harddrive disconnects. This does not happen on a Samsung S9.
Does this mean the A04 USB spec doesn't adhere to the official spec?
Any help will be appreciated.
