S9/S10 new update Autocorrect not working

Hello, i have a  S9 phone and it was working fine. Sine January 2020 update was installed on my phone, auto correction stopped working. I have gone through the keyboard settings and ensured the relavant options are ticked off but the problem is not resolved. I also uninstalled UK English keyboard and replaced it with the USA English keyboard as indicated by another user, but still i am having the same issue. Appreciate your assistance.

The predictive text & spelling correction are missing since last update.

Samsung S10e phone.

The fix for predictive text does not work because that option in Samsung keyboard is greyed out.

Samsung/Android caused this problem & should fix it URGENTLY with a further software update

You cant turn on predictive text its grey and not highlighted like it should be so there is no option to toggle it on or off as i have the same issue and have been througj every setting.

If the solutions provide in this post are absolutely not working have you considered an alternative keyboard? Microsoft swiftkey offers predictions and custom backgrounds.

What worked for me was I had to go into the settings, then general management, language and input, then click on the samsung keyboard neural beta, language and types, and there it asked me to download a language which I did English UK and the predictive is back.

Hello, just to say I managed to get this fixed through the Samsung customer service chatbot.  I can't  remember what I did but it fixed it and I now have predictive text and auto correct and so recimmend you try that if you haven't tried so far.

Didn't work. So infuriating - don't 'upgrade' to make a mess of my phone! Grrrr
