S9 notification bar randomly swiping down

Over the past 2 days my s9 has become unusable. I can't use my phone without the notification screen from the top randomly flashing up and covering my screen. I don't have a screen protector on and my phone hasn't been dropped. These are the things I've tried:-

* Phone case (same with or without)

* Cleaned screen

* Safe mode (still does it)

Can anyone help or is my phone for phone heaven?

Started having the same issue after adjusting settings, so I banged it on my hand and it stopped. Now when it happens I tap the edge of the phone on my palm and it stops. Go figure.

So what do the results of the square test show? I have the same problem. Notification bar drops down constantly on its own

under the advanced settings you need to turn the option to "off" that gives you the ability to use the side fingerprint scanner as a drop down button...
