What is happening with the Android 14 update for the S21 Series that are being purchased online directly from Samsung UK? It's getting very annoying with this update. First the update for the S21 series was postponed. Now almost 3 weeks after the promised date still nothing for the devices purchased online directly from Samsung. I checked the released software for the S21 Ultra in Sammobile and all the other software providers (including the uk carriers) already have the update. Only the BTU version which is directly Samsung (online) themselves is missing. Is that a joke? Can't imagine what will be with Android 15 which is the last promised major Android upgrade. I guess we will not receive it at all or it will be just before the release of Android 16. Considering probably a lot of S21 owners are close to an upgrade of their device in the next 12-18 months, this is definitely not a great look for Samsung. I personally am looking at Pixels more and more even though all of my other smart devices and appliances are Samsung. Very disappointed...

Calm down, it's not even that big of a deal. If you actually look, a lot are having problems with it. If you want bug ridden software, by all means complain about it. But do remember the time frame for any of the updates has never been officially announced by Samsung so all your complaints about delays and deadlines are unfounded.

There are actually more UI changes compared to Android 13. Ideally, I would like a non buggy software no matter if I update now or in 2 months. And yes, they posted the dates for the last few generations of devices that will receive the update but then deleted everything after they couldn't deliver on time. And I am not complaining about the update in general. I don't mind waiting, but all the other software providers, even the carriers have it, but not Samsung own online store devices. Online store that they push a lot in recent years because this is the way they make the most profits. This is why I am mad, it really feels like trolling from Samsung tbh.

I can definitively say, there's zero difference from a usability standpoint with my S23 Ultra on OneUI 6 compared to my S21 Ultra on OneUI 5.1. This cosmetic difference you seem to think is so drastic is barely recognisable unless pointed out. Functionality, they're practically the same. Trust me you aren't missing out on anything.

It takes a lot of time for people to receive it, it's frustrating yes but it will come to you soon. If you can't wait see my post to update it with Odin. But do it if. !!!!! you know what you are doing.!!!!!

I haven't used Odin since my Galaxy S3, but I don't think it will be much different. Just wondering what will happen if I flash software from another provider. I think the other unlocked ones from retailers are BTB and BTE. Any ideas?
