S21 Ultra adaptive refresh isn't working

Battery life on my S21 Ultra is awful, struggling to get past 4 hours screen time. 

I've found the issue, at last. 

In developer options you can enable a counter that shows the display refresh. It's constantly stuck at 120Hz, even on the AOD!

Samsung need to fix this quickly

Performed a factory reset, and now it's working

Ok. But strange to have 60fps on AOD. The screen can do 10fps on static screen

I thought that too. I wonder I maybe that counter in Android doesn't support showing rates under 60?

On YouTube it shows 48fps on 24fps videos

I sometime get 60 fps on AOD or when I don't touch the screen, and 120 all the time when screen on. It never goes under 60. Battery life is barely 1 day, 4hrs SOT

I am on the exynos version. Did a factory reset without using switch and still not resolved!

Anyone figures out how to make refresh rate go under 60 fps in adaptive?

Donno if this will help .

Had faced the exact same issue ,turns out right now if brightness is very low the refresh rate is stuck at 120hz , when I increase the brightness a bit the dynamic switch of refresh rate works again
