Hi everyone
I bought an S21 FE 5G on July. It's my first Samsung product ever and it had been working quite well all along. After 4 months of usage the fast charging option stopped working. Whenever I try using adaptive fast charging my phone says "Slow charge, to ensure fast charging: use a suitable cable, make sure the cable is not damaged" (The message is in spanish, I tried my best to translate it), however, when I connect my Galaxy Tab S7 FE (with 1 month of usage) there's no problem at all, in fact, in the drop down display I can see when I have "normal charging" and "fast charging"
Im currently using an original Samsung USB-A to USB-C cable and a non original USB-A to USB-C cable with an output of 3A, and an adaptor that came with the tablet. The adaptor's model is EP-TA200 with an output of 9v - 1.67A - 15W or 5v - 2A - 10W. I've tried using other cables and adaptors to try and fix the issue, including an original Apple adaptor with an output of 5V-1A and a DIGIBOX adaptor with an output of 5V-2.4A+1A. With any combination of cables + adaptors my phone gives me the message previously written with an approximate of charging (at 35% battery) of 17 hours. The only way to get normal charging is by connecting my phone to the 2.4A output charger. Also, the only way to activate fast charging is by using an Apple original adaptor model A2347 with an output of 5V-3A or 9V-2.22A
I've already tried soft rebooting my phone, changing cables and adaptors to try and find the cause, follow the instructions in this link https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/my-galaxy-device-is-not-fast-charging-how-do-i-fix... which, in fact, says my original Samsung adaptor is suitable for fast charging, but nothing seems to work
Lastly, I've also done a full Diagnostic of the phone with all but 2 functions working properly (those 2 are wired earphones and wireless charging, because I don't have accesories for that), battery health also says there are no problems at all

Are you able to let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on with the phone to test it @Oxkick
Also check the ports with a torch for any build up of lint etc.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
