First, after updating to android 14, the performance on battery dropped noticeably, because even 1h sot less. Then came the actulization to UI 6.1 and it is even worse. I understand that the battery has less capacity over time but I replaced it in June 2023 at samsung service. The phone is really good I still don't feel the need to change it for a newer one (which is probably very much out of favor with the manufacturer) but to deliberately degrade the performance on battery is just weak.

There have been multiple posts on this, have you searched first?
Recommend you Wipe Partition Cache on your device (especially if you've never done this before).
Then go to Device Care (in settings) and follow the instructions there.
Finally go to Settings then Battery to see what is using your juice. Usually there is a rogue app that drinks the juice affecting performance.

yes i read other topics but i made a new topic to emphasize the fact that this is noticed by more people. I applied the advice both from you and from other topics but it didn't do anything. The remaining option is to root the phone and restore android 13....
