s21 poor signal strength

I've just upgraded to the s21 from the s10. Problem is that I now only get 1 bar showing on the signal strength most of the time (including home). On the s10 it was on 3 bars most of the time using the same network and SIM. If I swap the SIM card back to the s10 I get 3 bars showing again 

I have tried resetting the network, a hard reboot, changing to SIM tray 2 but all to no avail. Anyone else experienced this/any ideas or is this device faulty??

I'd love to speak to them! I've tried many times but the signal always drops the call. No joke!

Have you tried social media? You can always chat with them on the Samsung members app. You can also visit your nearest samsung store.

I have tried chatting with them and they always end up with me having to call and then that never works. I suppose I'll try again, but I've had very hit and miss experiences with their customer service! Sometimes great, sometimes awful.

Aklima, This is a common issue, especially with looking at all of the comments on this topic.  Is there a known issue that has been addressed?

That's why I won't bother with Samsung........   Over a year with many complaints and they don't even acknowledge there is an issue....

Have you also turned on WiFi calling? This should help when calling Samsung team.

Yep, I'm jumping ship and getting an iPhone even though I basically hate the OS. But I would like a phone that works as a phone.

I too live in a rural area, the signal reception on the S21 Ultra is simply appalling, barely any signal, dropped and missed calls. The older Samsung we had was absolutely fine.

I have spoken to Samsung customer service and all they have suggested is to drop it into a service centre for them to look at......which will achieve nothing as in town with decent signal quality the phone actually works okay, its just in marginal areas where previous phones had average to poor signal reception this once has effectively zilch.

What other avenues are there to complain about it that may result in a fix of some sort?
