Unable to cast to Android TV with built in Chromecast since last update a couple of days ago, previously had no problems with cast from phone to TV,

I will try to help. Have you restarted the tv and the router. Also can you see the Chromecast via the Google home app?

yes restarted TV and router, checked TV and Chromecast is on and available, had no problems before update and could cast everything, it's a JVC Android 10 TV so can only assume s21 plus update has scuppered it somehow

Can you cast your phone screen to the tv using Google Home insted of the Samsung's way

And don't forget to be the same wifi as the the TV and the router. Try to cast from different phone to check the network. Check the 5ghz is it on (turn it off)

Nothing even comes up when I use quick connect feature not a single thing.

What's 5g got to do with anything if both devices are on 5g there should be no issues
