Removing sounds when phone opens.

I need to remove the sound when my phone opens, it's switched off in settings but still beeps and its annoying the frig out of me. 

It's a galaxy S20.

This is driving me mad too!! Everything possible switched off and it makes a sound EVERY time I open my screen. I don't want that at all.
S23, UI6 Android 14.

@wsam @Els3823: For clarity, have you tried heading to Settings > Sounds and vibration > System sound > Screen lock/unlock, and toggling this option off? If so, can you confirm if you have a case or cover on the phone with any cards inside? If so, try removing the cards or case/cover temporarily, or disable NFC to see if you notice an improvement.

I have the same problem,started 3 days ago,so irritating i tried everything but no success.😡

I had all the settings right, it was the cards in the back that made it beep, thanks @AndrewL.

Thankyou - I have a hard phone case with RFID protection (apparently), but switching off NFC has resolved the issue.

Hi - seems NFC is the issue. I have switched this off. My phone is in a hard case with a card in a slider on the back, which is meant to be RFID proof, but seems it must pick up my card since the last two days. Resolved, and thank you for a sensible reply.
