I got my new Samsung S20 FE 5G and after checking the settings I switched to 120 Hz refresh rate and it still works in 60 Hz after enabling dev settings It shows 120 sharp but it is stuck in 60 Hz even in 60 Hz it shows 60 sharp no more less in both cases it's stuck in 60 Hz... I looked up the problem I found that others had the same problem and some claim that Galaxy MaxHz helped them fix the issue but for me it didn't help at all... I think the phone needs an update of some sort to fix the issue, any help would be very much appreciated!

Not quite sure... I took it to samsung's official repair shop in my country, they told me the display installed on the device isn't original meaning installing the original display will cost me basically a new phone! They also told me that the warranty is valid only in Belgium (where I got it from) so I'm stuck with it and using it as it is...

Today I tried the galaxy maxhz app and not worked, it still stuck at 60💔
Did you tried any custom rom, like if it's an software issue then in custom rom 120 hz will work

I don't know about it, but if the device has a manufacturing defect there's really no point of doing that... Even on UFO test website it shows me the real FPS of the device which is 52 FPS in my case and I tried another device on the website (with 120 FPS feature enabled in it) and it works fine.
