Radio, Whatsapp voice messages, and Spotify turns off when screen locks (S20-FE)

Hi! 

When I listen to the radio in an app, or Spotify, or a voice message on Whatsapp, or uses a running app for counting distance, it all turns off when screen lock turns on. To continue to listen to the radio I have to keep on locking upp the phone every other minute. Same with the other apps. So when I run I need to continually press the screen so the phone tracks my route, if not the running app stops tracking my route. 

I have changed all the apps from battery saving options, so they all have "full access". That was not the issue. What else can I do? I find this very frustrating.

@SophieEihpos : Please try heading to Settings > Apps > Spotify (as an example) > Mobile data > Allow background data usage > On > Back > Battery > Unrestricted. Repeat this process for other affected apps, and check to see if this resolves the issue. 

I also recommend heading to Settings > Lock screen > Widgets > Music, and toggling this option on.

Hi! Thanks for the help. I've done both of those, and the issue still persists unfortunately. It's not only music, but also my running app that stops tracking my route when the screen lock turns on.

Try  also turning on appear on top in App info or you can turn them on immediately through Settings > Apps...tap 3 dots top right and tap Appear to top and a list of applications that support it will appear. YouTube will only work on the lock screen if you have a subscription to YouTube Premium.

Thanks for support! Neither of those apps are available in the list of apps to appear on top (like Spotify, my running app, or my swedish radio app).
