Poor Quality Camera On s21 Ultra

Does anyone else have pretty poor pics from the s21 Ultra? Pictures lack detail and just look bad, almost like a 4 year old phone. Really disappointed.

I genuinely prefer my S10 to this phone. Most disappointing camera I've seen. The night mode moon pictures are pretty cool. Or a light less star shot. But day time zoom is just poor. Samsung really messed this up

You r guys just a joke. S21 Ultra. most expensive mobile phone. And with xiomi mi note 10 pro, which is 1 and half year old mid-range phone im making a LOT better photos in ANY condition. like 50% more detail. tryed light / dark , tryed to turn off enhancers, tryed to take photos in pro mode. Zero change.  Check this - the wheels, the green bag, the gray boxes ... everything is totally distorted and damaged.

Be so kind, and download it in full res. you will see how bad this actually is. Because im here testing more phones, tryed same scene with low budget moto m100 (around half price of s21) ... the difference is huge.

Tryed also reset data, clear cashe yada yada yada... nothing helped.

Use the 10mp camera the images are much crisper.

I'm stargk g Starting to feel like I've wasted my money as well. The quality of munky 10 when zooming in on objects seems to far outweigh the quality of the ultra. Please tell me where I am gojng wrong or sort it out. The fact there was to be no Note21 this year was the only reason I went for this.

Return it if you can. Its garbage. Its combination of exynos chipset (for EU, and yes, it have impact on quality of photo processing) and heavy ironing of noise. Erm, details... You can take pleasant images of the moon when AI kicks in, but thats all. I was not able to get good sharp results indoor on bright day. All my photos were like from watercolor painting. Even 280EUR motorola M100 have better results till approx. 3x ... (yes, 10x optical can be better if you finally manage to sustain the focus....)

Ive bought the standard s21, i came from the hauwei mate 20 pro. The photo quality of this brand new Samsung are horrendous, close up and far away. My wife has always had Samsung phones and i was impressed by the camera quality, which is why i bought my first Samsung phone. The camera is a big part of a phone for me. Theres so many different bits of this phone that is poor compared to the 2 year old "mate 20 pro", its really disappointing. I'm considering selling the s21 as a used phone and who knows what ill replace it with. Its poor.

Well I have been taking pics of my sleeping daughter for YEARS (in the car) well.... I always use flash because it's usually at night . Well.... take a peek. That cloudy crappy pic is my S21ultra. The one with good color is my super old S9 🙄

So disappointed.... she doesn't sleep as much so I guess I'm not missing that much... but REALLY?

well the s21 ultra is bad in my eyes, but in a bit different way - sorry i HAVE to ask - isnt it possible that you let the cover on the lenses?  because it looks like it.... If not, then return it, it have to be some serious hardware issue that is not a standard.
