Photos in secure folder

Hi, I selected all photos in my gallery and clicked move to secure folder but only a few moved and the  rest disappeared. I've literally lost hundreds, is there any way to get these back?.

Moving photos is never a good idea as you have found out. Basically RAM gets overloaded and goes kaput.
If not in Gallery recycle bin or backed up, they're gone.
Next time, copy and paste.

Thank you for your response, I just can't believe that they have disappeared and not somewhere in the phone.
