One UI 6 no Screen Burn-In protection

It's been few days now I'm seeing this new and I'm kinda scared now to update my phone.

Apparently the burn-in screen protection is missing on the update and could damage your screen. 

I think I'll wait until this has been sorted. 

If anyone experienced this already please leave a comment below.

Even if it's true, I'd say it's highly unlikely you'll get any burn in in such a short amount of time. Personally, I've yet to see any burn in with any of my Samsung OLEDs.

Yeah it's true I may be a bit paranoid. Apparently screen must be on with max brightness for a very long period of time to have a problem. So it should be alright with my usage. 😉

If it helps, I've been using OneUI 6 for nearly 3 months now without seeing any issues yet.

Screen burn will happen if you have the screen on for very long periods of time constantly.
All phones with Amoled screens will get burn in if used excessively.

Ive got two phones, S23 Ultra on Android 14 One UI 6 and my Z Fold 5 is on Android 14 One UI 6 Beta
Neither of them have screen burn.
Although I don't have screen on full brightness. It's on most of the way high.

I updated to one ui 6 on my S22 and within a few hours I have screen burn of the tiktok plus and home buttons. I'm absolutely fuming that this was released

What is Samsung's official position on the matter? Does oneui6 include pixel shift protection for the notification bar at least? If not will Samsung take care of this with a future update? Is one ui 6 safe for usage on our amoled screens? Feedback from users and reassurements from users of the forum that there is no problem do not satisfy me!

There is no pixel shift protection, anywhere. Samsung did not communicate on this matter 🤷

Definitely it's not safe, but wy samsung keeping silence? Do they want to lose their customers?

Hi. There is some news to impart about this matter, and the Pixel Shifting function for preventing display burn-in will be incorporated in a future software update for One UI 6-eligible devices. 

There is no ETA for the update at present, so please check your device periodically for this:
